Based inMarrakech, Elisabeth Busson creates sculptural wall pieces and unique artworks inspired by warrior -like ornamental traditions - symbol of power found in ceremonial headdresses, sacred patterns, and symbolic architecture.
 
Her process merges contemporary vision with cultural heritage  and exceptional craftmanship.
 
Each piece is handmade painted in relief on plexiglas using a meticulous and unique  technique Elisabeth Busson developped herself.
 
The interplay of light reflective material, textured surfaces, and panoramic formats evokes not only visual fascination but also a deep almost instinctive desire to touch.

A symbolic language worn as a headdress expressing power, strength and identity..
Through this collection, Elisabeth Busson explores  the symbol of power, identity, and memory that civilizations have place atop the heads of their figures of authority from Asia to Africa, from Europe to America, from the Past to the Future.
Each portrait, often shown in profile and veiled in shadow, gives full presence to the headdress - a true mental and cultural architecture, suspended between light and silent.
 
This headpiece pays tribute to Akan culture, present in West Afrika, notably in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire, and to its core values: strength, protection, and nobility. Adorned with circular motifs inspired by Adrinka symbols, this portrait embodies a visual language passed down through generations.
 
These signs, which replace letters , carry meanings of important values, gratitude, recognition, justice, longevity , power... They transmit ancestral wisdom and timeless spiritual power, where each sign becomes a bearer of identity and pride.
 
The presence of teeth highlights the vital role of hunting for survival in a nature that is often harsh and unforgiving - a testament to great courage in the face of adversity.
